Hello, after around 2 weeks ago I took the battery out of my Jaguar to recharge it and when I put it back in it wouldn't crank over and many error messages were shown on the display such as
DSC not available
Air suspension fault and vehicle too low but it hasn't been started for a while so this made sense
ABS not available
Steering column locked
and in addition to those faults the key no longer locks/unclocks, turns the headlights on or opens the boot but it does turn in the ignition.
I should also add that the car makes a continuous beeping sound when the key is turned in the ignition.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Did you fit the battery correctly ie is the polarity the right way around?

If so have the battery load tested.

the polarity was the right way around and now that you mention it I will have the polarity of the battery load tested. I will swap the battery with the one in the Discovery to see if it is a battery issue or something more complicated.
