Default ZF Mechatronic Sealing Adapter Differences Help!

Currently have the Mechatronic dropped in my driveway thinking this was going to be easy...

I've read there are differences in height... but I seem to have one with the correct height yet another difference.

In the middle of the new part there is a boss sticking out that interferes with the transmission. There is also a little "flag" sticking off the side. But I've seen that on them on other posts.

I'm considering just cutting it off with a utility knife because as far as I can tell.... there are no other differences.

Anyone familiar with these?

I bought the REIN TSK0018 off Amazon which specifically says its compatible. Unfortunately I meant to buy from CTSC but an order was placed on my Amazon when the REIN kit was in my cart... I thought screw it... I'll just use it since it was already delivered. What a mistake...

OK here is from authority in ZF transmissions in US:

When I did mine transmission seal kit there was no 'luggage tag' on bridge seal. Here what I bought for mine one year ago:

FWIW: the biddger opening is different between old and new on your picture.

I cut it off with a pair of really sharp flush cutters and sent it... Seems fine. Drove pretty hard for 20 minutes.

On a side note.... it took all of the 6 quarts i had and still needs a little more... Seems to drive and shift all around better. It hasn't given me the transmission fault again yet.

When did similar job on mine. it was acting up for about 10miles but then it was functioning as supposed to.
Some times it has pronounced downshift coming to stop light at high rate if decelleration.
