I have a 1996 Jaguar VDP
I am the 3rd owner. The original owner had dealer installed : 1. NAV system, (Jaguar option) 2. in dash radar detctor 3. Backup warning system.
I am trying to figure out the wiring for the dealer installed backup warning system. Has anyone ever seen one of these before? It has 2 sensors under the rear bumper, LED's on the backup light in the rear window and a little speaker stuck under the backup light. It looks like it was wired into the backup lights as well. Unfortunately when pulling the NAV system out I pulled out one wire that ran from the backup lights to somewhere under the dash. help?

That didn't help. Sorry. I can't seem to even find the control unit. There are two radar units under the rear bumper and a speaker underneath the rear deck brake light. There are 3 LED's taped/glued to the front side of the rear deck brake light. The system seems to be powered from the backup light. There are two thin leads that go to the backup tail-light. Then there is one big white lead that goes from the backup tail light forward to the dashboard and there is where it's disconnected. I thought it was running to the stereo somewhere but evidently it was not.....
