1996 X300 3.2 Value
Hi all, struggling to work out a value, looking for help!
1996 Executive, 72k from new, all electrics working, 11 months mot.
Deep metallic blue with cream leather.
Some bills and history
Brand new tyres, no rust, unmarked alloys.
Asking prices vary widely, what would it sell for?
Ta.

Asking the value of a car is like asking "How long is a piece of string". Your local market will dictate "market value" despite whatever the car might be worth to you. I don't know where you're based, but you will just have to look around for as many similar cars, compare what's on offer with yours and find an average asking price.
Markets vary wildly and here in Ireland, any big engine cars are very cheap to buy, as the annual road tax is exorbitant. I pay almost €2,000.00 road tax, each year, every year!
If you're not in a hurry to sell you could always consider parting it out. It's time consuming and cash is drip fed, but it's an option.

I have exact same car. Bought it April 2014. 76,000 miles. No major problems. Car runs very smooth. Never had any problems. I paid $ 6,500.
Since buying, spent about $2,000 on rear brakes, new water pump, minor leak fix in A/C pipe, replace front left bushings on shock absorber to get rid of a clicking noise.
I have to get a tune up, front brakes, transmission service and all new shocks. Estimating another $2,000.
Hope this gives you some idea.
