Had the car about three weeks now, and since I have had the car, I have noticed that when I put the car in the "on" position, both coolant fans come on...regardless of the climate control settings. I'm sure this is not normal, right?

 

There was a Jaguar tech bulletin regarding modifiying the fan circuit. I can't remember if it changed the operation TO what you've described or FROM what you've described.

Hmmmm....let's see....

Mine does not do what yours does and it never had the modification so I'd say yours HAS had the modification.

Others will chime in but I think that what you have goin' on.

That's it, third one that you posted. Seems like a cheesy "fix" considering the wear and tear on the $500 cooling fans, but at least I know that's how it is supposed to be. The low pressure switch has been deleted on my car.
