Default Adding extras!!!

Hi all, please can someone help me with really quite a simple problem? I am intending on fitting some Daylights to my Jaguar X300 Sport 4.0litre 1996. The fitting of the lights is the simple part. The instructions say regarding the Module, that two wires are to be taken to the Battery Terminals. As the battery is in the boot, my question is:-
Is there any terminals in the engine bay where I can pick up these terminals instead of going to the trouble of running cables through the length of the car.

If there is a simple solution to this then I will be very grateful.
Regards,
Andy

You can most likely pick up the feeds you need from the fuse box in the engine bay.

Not sure about your model, but I believe there should be a positive post in the engine bay somewhere. Usually is when the batts. in the trunk....the question is where? Look for some type of round grommet/flap type thing covering the post. Mine is hidden by the air intake hose on the passenger side firewall just behind the upper shock mount. Check it out with a good flashlight.

The positive terminals mentioned are beside each of the two engine fuseboxes, which are located on each side of the engine, just inside the bonnet, towards the front, above the wheel arches. Little black boxes, about the size of a cigarette packet. The terminals are covered with a little circular rubber cap. Alternatively, there should be some free fuse terminals available of possible use.
