Air Control Valve
I have a 95 Vanden Plas. I watched a video that suggested the cleaning of the throttle body and replacing the air control valve. Is it a good idea to replace this valve, and if so, where is the best place to get one? I think this was suggested as a preventative measure. Thanks!
Someone recently had a substation part for the inlet air control valve
Do not remove the throttle position sensor as this is a important adjustment you don't want to lose
The bolts tend to break off on removal of the IAC valve so heat from the inside of the throttle body is recommended
the bolts are a odd 5.5 mm or 6.5 mm and about the only time to get it off with tight bolt head side clearances
There is no gasket on the throttle body to intake manifold but there is one on the IAC valve
