If you are capable of doing A/C work and know why, then you should not have trouble locating it. Please realise you should not undertake such work lightly.
Save yourself a lot of grief and get the workshop manual (ebay $5).

I assume you are referring to the DCCV.

Here is a picture of my DCCV. It is from a 2005 3.0 V6 though.

That's a water (engine coolant) valve.... he says air!
If you guessed right WELL DONE. No O rings on it, though.
The rest of us all wonder which valve he meant

I saw only a/c parts. Which one is the "air valve"? Has it got O rings?

I think the extreme right image (the metal part on the table) should be an air valve .
But hey I just remember there is a member in here "jaguarclimatecontrol" .I saw his a couple of posts and he seems very pundit on A/C Systems
So, he would clear the things straight

That's a valve for air? What does it do as part of an a/c system? I'm lost here. I've done a small amount of work on some a/c systems but have no idea what an air valve would be.

An expansion valve oddly enough lets the compressed refrigerant expand LOL
Nothing to do with air, though. Maybe the OP could finally explain.

I join the rest in wondering what valve he meant. I just took a WAG on air control valve translating to heater control valve and then to DCCV. Guess Richard's job is safe for the time being.
