Is the AJ16 Engine a Interference Engine ?

I have inadvertently run my XJR with the timing a tooth out, and whilst it wasnt ideal, no damage ensued. That said, I believe that it is an interference engine, and that if the valvetrain becomes static, it will be hit by the pistons.

Although my engine is fine I was always curious if it was more then 2 teeth off or maybe 15 degrees one direction or the other
This is for VVT considerations where the chain is installed in it's proper factory position for a VVT at rotary actuator neutral
