Are those front grills interchangeable with each other. If I were to purchase a XJR could I possibly take out the ugly looking chrome one and replace it with a matching color grill with the rest of the car? Thanks!

 

haha the chrome grill isn ugly. But I just dont think the chrome border around the XJR mesh grill flows together...lol. '98 and up XJR's look good with the paint matched grill. jusssst my opinion

 

yea it doesnt have to be the 98 and up grill. But can I just take a white or black grill off a normal XJ6 or something and put it on there? I guess the chrome doesnt look horrible with the mesh grill on a 96 or 97 XJR as long as the car is white because it seems to flow together better.

 

ooooo my lord...I want that RIGHT NOW!! Funny you should send that since I've been comparing white and black XJR pics along side each other and have definitely decided on WHITE. I think the chrome grill is growing on me a little...I'd let it slide for a while and see how I liked it..haha. Since this chrome grill isnt exactly "real" compared to the current XJ6 I have I'd say it def looks more sleek and less tacky on that white XJR than if it were black. You made my day by the way and now all I'm going to be thinking about all nite is wishing my XJ6 was already sold so I could buy one just like that!!
