Anti lock light
Had a few issues with anti lock light popping up on my dash ,it seems be very intermittent as the last time it happened was two months ago ,and cleaning the plugs on the abs sensors sorted it ....
came on today again ,will
probably go out again next time I use it but it’s mildly annoying lol
im aware of the dry joint issue on the abs unit plug and pins but this doesn’t seem to be the cause ,is there any thing else that can set it off ??

Just wedged a strong magnet between pump
body and two pin plug which slightly forces the plug over to the left and the light has gone out and not reappeared so I figure I need to resolder the pins ,it can stay how it is for now and I’ll look when it plays up again lol 👌🏻

The brake switch has been replaced with a superseding part #
It's actually 2 switches in one , one for the brake lights them-self and the other for the ABS
The ABS light when " latched " does not go out immediately when you try something but requires you run the car 12.5 MPH
Not all OBD 2 ( X300 is a first generation OBD 2 as they designed it with its shortcomings ) readers will see the ABS codes just like the " full set " of transmission codes

I’ve been out since wedging the plug over and the light didn’t come on so I e cured it temporarily and now I think I know the issue ,when it plays up again I’ll strip it and solder the pins again

I had an intermittent ABS light problem which turned out to be the connector under the left side rear seat, The loom is so tight that the connector can only sit in one location, directly under part of the seat cushion springing. I eventually spotted that I only had the ABS light on when someone was sitting in that seat!
