Default Any kind person able to ship QYL coils from USA to UK? - RESOLVED

Hello, reading the threads on new coils it seems that the best ones to get (That aren’t silly money) are QYL.

I would like two boxes of 6.

These are available from Amazon.com but they don’t ship to UK.
Amazon Amazon

Is anyone here able to buy these on my behalf and then ship to my UK address?
I would be able to pay with PayPal.

Thank you
Peter

A quick internet search shows there are several services that you could maybe use to do this.
They provide an in country address for suppliers to ship to and then they forward the shipment to you.
In your case you would give the supplier a US address to ship to.
I have no idea how much this costs and I have not used any of these, but it could be worth investigating.

These are some of the companies -

https://usdelivered.com/
https://www.myus.com/
https://www.maltapost.com/sendon
https://ship7.com/

Thank you V126man I would have never thought of this, and didn’t even know it was ‘a thing’!
If it works, it opens up a host of possibilities..

I have signed up with ship7 and placed the amazon.com order. Now I just have to sit back and wait and see.............

Are they known to work? I have never seen anything other than 'Diamond' that worked for more than a month or two. I have seen aftermarket that worked well initially, but started misfiring anywhere between one and four months after installation. Diamond are expensive, it would be nice to have an alternative that works.

There have been reports on this forum of them lasting 2 years and counting.
I will take that for coils costing about $14 each!

I have been using QYL coils for about two and a half years, so far no problems.

Just installed a set from Amazon, $79 USD. Noticed an immediate improvement on idle and during running. Time will tell.

I have used them a little bit over a year but did have 1 fail on me. But the rest seem to work just fine! Definitely worth the money.

That’s why I have ordered 2 boxes! Still waiting for them to be delivered to the forwarding people (hoping tomorrow) so might get them before Christmas!

Just want to say thank you again to v126man for putting me onto the shipping company.

The parcel arrived today, so I am now the proud owner of new QYL coils!
Just wish the weather was a bit better so I could rush out and fit them lol

Box of 6

Thanks for sharing this, I have just ordered two boxes too! Hoping this will help alleviate my ever-present slight mis-fire.

You are welcome.
They didn’t come with gaskets, so you might want to get some in readiness. I have now fitted these and was very pleasantly surprised with the performance gain these have given me. The old ones must have been on there way out for a long time.
