Default Anyone know where to find Part# LNA7655 BA?

This is for my 1995 Jaguar XJ6 4.0L. This is a low pressure switch for the AC Part #LNA7655 BA

The AC works fine and Jaguar (dealer parts dept) sold me a replacement with what they called a "workaround". The AC works fine but immediately the check engine light comes on with a few codes. Some are slow responding sensors etc. It happened immediately after putting this in (replacing a defective one and no codes previously). I noticed the fan starts and starts differently now too. Jaguar doesn't sell the part anymore.

I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

I believe Jaguar did away with this sensor.

On those with the modification the fans run constantly when the ignition is turned on.

That could be why you are now getting various codes up as you should have the modification, may also explain why the part is no longer available.

I replaced the 4 wire one that I got from jaguar (and couldn't return). My car has the bypass in it currently and everything works except it throws codes due to the slow warmup (fans constantly on).

So I have a n extra 4 wire that I can use for the bad 2 wire one that is bypassed. Anyone have an idea which wires to use. I can upload a pic tomorrow if any has an idea.

I'm pretty sure I have one and, if so, you can have it. Last year, on my 1996 X300, the aluminum line to which these sensors mount chafed and developed a pinhole leak. Unwilling to give the dealer $300+ for a new one, I went to a junkyard and took one off of a 1995 X300. I paid $15 for the line, complete with TWO sensors attached to it. So here's the story, the 1995 cars had TWO sensors in this line - high and low pressure. By 1996, they had discontinued the low pressure sensor, so my car only has/uses ONE. I installed the 1995 line on my car and just left the low pressure sensor on the line, mostly just as a plug. The wire isn't attached to anything; I just left it dangling. If it turns out that I can remove that sensor without losing pressure in the system, you can have it. Shoot me an e-mail.

Default Hi,

I just saw your 2012 inquiry for a LNA7655BA.

I purchased a new one several years ago and never used it.

I guess as they say, "there is no harm in asking", but Bob's post was almost two years ago and he's never posted again, so.....

Also, Bob, Thanks for the heads up regarding the personal email address, You're right....Better to communicate sensitive info via private message.

I received the part from Coventry West in Lithonia, Ga... they shipped it on Wednesday...1-800-331-2193. Said delivery was for Saturday but I received the part today...Friday @ 1100. Previously they also provided me the 2 electrical connection parts which fixed the 2-3 year old Transmission issue.

Thanks Again to ALCON...I do have another issue.. Please see "1995 XJR HORN Inoperative"
