Sorting out my new (to me) XJR, I want to get rid of that auto lock feature. Can we program these (in)convenience features ourselves? Is there a tool one can buy and do it our selves? Any investment is cheaper than visiting the Jaguar Dealer here...

 

I have hints as not an expert , the feature is deprogramable at the dealer involving special equipment , Motorcarman would be your best adviser

 

Programmable Features for Jaguars.
The one you want is DRIVE AWAY DOOR LOCKING ENABLE/DISABLE.
