Boot lights dangling!!
How do we keep our trunk lights attached to the liner? All three of my cars have dangling lights where the original thin glue patch failed years ago. This is getting rather annoying to me, since I just got the trunk lights working in the VDP, with a new microswitch and wire repair. But they are dangling!! Nothing should dangle on a Jaguar. I haven't come up with any creative solution myself. STOP THE DANGLING!!!

Richard,
This also used to annoy me on my X300 and X308. The plastic clips on the lights were OK but the cutouts in the liner became too big to hold them in securely.
After several attempts with dabs of various types of flexible sealant/adhesive, I cleaned off the original glue and re-glued them with contact adhesive. They never fell out again and the liner could be released at the fixing studs if a bulb needed renewing.
