I've got a peddle box from either (I believe) an X300 or X308 and i'm looking at the feasibility of fitting it into a 1967 MK2.
I've seen some people do it but when i've looked at the one i've bought the brake pedal is cranked to the lift which means it wont fit unless the brake pedal is so far over it would be undriveable.
I've seen some that appear to have the pedal straight, does anyone know what the difference is? I've also considered getting one from a LHD car but the import postage is quite expensive for something that might not work.
This is the pedal box from a LHD X300 and the brake pedal is canted to the right. I suspect that a RHD pedal box would be the reverse and have the brake to the left.
I actually think that the pedal box from a Series III XJ would be better, because the booster sits vertical against the firewall, and the master cylinder is horizontal. It tips upward in the X300. I have seen photos of someone who grafted the Series III metal and pedal box into a Mark 2 and it didn't look that bad to do.

Thanks, that's exactly the pedal box I have. I might have to bite the bullet and import a LHD pedal.
It's interesting that the the brake cylinder tips up, I need to see how best I can fit it in the space available. I was trying to use a later setup as parts are more available.

This is a LHD pedal box, so might not be any different from what you have? Although Jaguar Heritage lists different part numbers for the RHD and LHD pedals themselves. The housing is the same.

Yes I think its just the pedal thats different, i'm looking on ebay.com for pedals in the USA but the shipping and taxes are huge!
