Default Brake pedal angle

Hi All,

I've got a peddle box from either (I believe) an X300 or X308 and i'm looking at the feasibility of fitting it into a 1967 MK2.

I've seen some people do it but when i've looked at the one i've bought the brake pedal is cranked to the lift which means it wont fit unless the brake pedal is so far over it would be undriveable.

I've seen some that appear to have the pedal straight, does anyone know what the difference is? I've also considered getting one from a LHD car but the import postage is quite expensive for something that might not work.

Any help appreciated from owners of X308's :-)

Thanks, do you know if they could be interchanged or are they different and if so what the difference might be? It will help when looking to buy one from the USA.

My apologies for not responding sooner, ...been with family for personal issues.

I do not know if they can be interchanged since I have no knowledge of the MK2. I was hoping the provided pics would help give you some better direction.
From a basic layman's point of view, I would have thought that Jag simply applied the same peddle principle to its European model, just with the opposite angle.
Is there not a recycle yard you could visit to get those dimensions and reverse the angle to see if one would fit?
