I went online to see if I could find a good deal on HD Bilstein shocks and have my Jag mechanic install them, but I'm a little confused.

On the Bilstein site, it shows these:

Front - B36 1861 H0
Rear - B46 1858 H1

However, sites show some other models for the fronts and say nothing other that "Heavy Duty":

W0133-1608674 ($84) - I think these are the Front 1861
W0133-1601598 ($159) - XJR?

W0133-1604894 ($108) - I think these are the Rear 1858

Any ideas about the other ones or should I just go with the 1861's?

 

Jaguar shocks are made by billstein, the dealership installs shocks that have jaguar stamped on them but in my opinion they are the same. Try a site called jagbits, they sold me a set and i am happy with them.

 

I ended up buying them from AutoPartsWarehouse.com. It came to around $360 for a full set after I used the coupon AFFEIAPW to get 8% off.

The price was the same at a couple other sites but this one was the only one I could find a working code for.
