Default A/C Vent Clips

Is there any place that sells just the clips as seen here?

In a word, NO.

It comes as a vent assembly at obscene $$.

Some on here have made new ones out of plastic and alloy i believe.

I simply glued the horizontal vanes in a fixed, even space position, coz when I thought about it clearly, I never really altered the "up and down" air flow direction. OK, L to R sometimes, but also rarely.

One day I will find another centre vent unit and put it as Jag designed, haha, but am in no hurry, it works as is just fine.

I made a lot of money selling used vent assys on eBay back in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

I gathered and took broken vents home from the dealer and assembled a few from many.
I remember that they were hundreds of dollars each so I sold them for half price including shipping.

Try salvage yards and gather a few for parts.

I bought a replacement recently on ebay 20 pounds. The "wood trim" was different but was easily changed. The plastic vane control strip was broken but both halves were present.

Think I forked over $120 or so on eBay for an intact replacement...but I needed (and found) the gold inlay of the VDP.

Retained my old one, thinking I may attempt a repair some day when I run out of stuff to do..
