Can anybody give a logical explanation for this?

Can anybody give a logical explanation for this?
The VIN number on the plate under the bonnet and just behind the headlights of my Jag xj6 3.2 (x300) is SAJJFALG3BJ745759.
The VIN number on the V5C document which has my name and address on it which was sent to me by the DVLC is also SAJJFALG3BJ745759
But a VIN number check on that number on autocalculator.org (from the X300 quick FAQ Sticky on this Jaguar X300 forum index page) shows no results.
**Is worried**

Hi 5tevie, my first thought is that perhaps their database isn't totally comprehensive. After all, they're only as good as the information they hold.
BTW checked mine and the details were ok except that it's shown as a United Kingdom vehicle but as far as I am aware it's never been on the road or registered in the UK. I'm in Spain. So that bit's not correct!
