Is the 1995-1997 XJ6 "Pre-wired" for the CD changer?

I already know which Alpine changer models will work with my factory radio, I just have no idea if the car came wired from the factory or if I will need to run the cables myself. Any imput would be appreciated.

I believe all of the X300's (at least the US ones) came with Factory CD changers. What happened to yours?

 

And the cables are pre-installed to the trunk. Sounds like someone might have removed the CD stacker.

 

It was probably broken (which happens), and the PO removed the CD changer. If there isn't any of the mounting hardware, that was probably removed too. Check behind the carpet on the far wall (more on the passenger's side) to see if there are any cables. If not, they were probably removed?

 

The cables are there. Remember, they've had at least 13 years to settle into the most impossible place for you to find them.
