I just had 2 codes come up on my 97' VPD. They were P0116- Engine coolant temp CKT range performance, and P0118 Eng. Coolant temp. Curcuit high imput. Does anyone have an idea what these point to? I'm brining it into get a differential seal replaced tomarrow and was wondering if this is something I should have them fix as well or if it is something easy enough to do myself. thanks

 

sounds like you may need a thermostat and possibly a temp sensor .. i wud do a thermostate 1st. 2 10 mm bolts front top of the engine will need a gasket too.
