I had a post last week about these problems. I replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAF with MAF Spray. The Jag appeared to be running great then two days ago the light and Res Perf Light came on again. I did get a Diagnostic and the codes read
SHRTB1S2 1.6 ?
MAF 0.743 to a 0.754 ?
LONGFT2 ?

Do you guys think replacing the MAF Sensor would take care of my problem? to me it appears it all is relevant to fuel mixture.

 

One of the more experienced members is going to ask you to post the actual codes so they can look for additional possibilities.

 

P1000 is the only code and reads "DTC definetly not found please refer to vehicle service manual" it did have a ? below the code. Any idea's?

 

That means you have cleared all codes and internal checks are incomplete. It will become P1111 after a few drive cycles.

Hey guys, I finally was able to drive a while. The check engine light is not on but the restricted performance pops on. I ran the OBD and came out with:
P1638
P1642
02 Bank2 Sensor1
Any ideas?
