An old cable-tie failed and the cable to upper fan got trapped between fan shroud and crank pulley, shorting the circuit and blowing f11 fuse. Luckily I noticed the temp creeping up and not far from home.
Anyone repaired one of these or have suggestions on correct gauge wire to repair? It's multi-strand and a 30A circuit for that fan.
f17 for other fan is OK and hoping fan control relay is OK.
Otherwise got to find a replacement
If you have enough wire left there are waterproof butt splices that you wouldn't need special tools for ( Kansas City electronic supply store )
Fan control module should be OK but if replaced it is a white one and not black for the slightly different system on the V - 8 ( X308 )
There is a simple paperclip test for the fans as you put it back together ( low current section of the fans circuit ( it also test the fans control module )
