DIY: X308 Washer Tank conversion
Accidentally blew your washer tank to pieces? No problem
Parts needed: Washer tank assembly from X308
GM 6-700 Washer Pump with connector: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264600374798
Step 1: Remove filler neck, jack up right front.
Step 2: remove 4 10mm bolts securing tank to the car
Step 3: remove level float connector (red), pump connector (black) and pump hose
Step 4: Install washer pump and included grommet into new tank as shown
Step 5: cut level float connector wires and splice together.
Step 6: cut factory washer tank connection and connect new wires. red to black and blue to yellow
Reinstall.
