hi all, the automatic door locking when put into gear has stopped working but works ok via the key fob. even pushing the door lock button on the dash wont lock also. would this be a fuse or something else? thanks.

Sometimes the boot/trunk locked microswitch malfunctions and if the car doesn't think that the boot is closed and locked then the car won't electro lock.
This switch is part of the boot latch mechanism.

Mine failed years ago and it was a broken plunger on the switch. I managed to glue a small piece of plastic tube to the broken stub and that fixed it.

It is also replaceable if you can find one. See pic for part number.

P.S. It could also be any of the micros in the latches in the door locks
