I am installing a keyless entry system in my car (bought one from Walmart.com for $17) and am in need of a little assistance. I did do a search but can't find the information which I need. I recall seeing that the door trigger wires (and color codes!) are behind the driver's kick panel but I do not know the color codes for the wires and was hoping if someone can tell me the color code and if the triggers are + or -.

I found the wires. There are a **** load of wires in that loom, the wires are thin and with my aging eyesight it was hard to find the trigger wires but a magnifying glass and flashlight helped a lot.
The module required for 4 wires - One to hot lead, one to ground, one to door open trigger and one to door close trigger. Very simple to wire up and it cost less than $20 and an hour of my time.
BTW, my American XJ6 came with a 433mhz unit installed!
