Downpipe for supercharger engines
Am looking for downpipe with front cats for my XJR. Factory stock (NBC6711BB) is no longer available. Incidentally, Andy has in a separate thread commented on the X300 downpipes, as follows:
"......Remember that the downpipe of an XJR6 is different to the naturally aspirated cars. In fact the XJR6 had different downpipe between manual and auto. There were also two different types of joints between downpipe and under-floor system using either an "olive joint" or "slip fit" joint. If you look on the Jaguar classic parts website you will see that there is a bewildering list of different part number for 6 cylinder X300 exhausts system parts....."
Jaguar Classic Parts' X300 catalogue has listed 7 versions of the X300 downpipe. NBC6711 FB, BC, EA, CB, CA CC and BB. Mine has the spherical joint, and has a formidable price tag, being listed at GBP726. Wonder how different it is from other downpipes. It is no longer produced by Jaguar so would have to go aftermarket. Found one selling on eBay UK but seller does not ship to Hong Kong. In any case, I have to cut away the upper part of the downpipe to make way for the custom-made exhaust manifolds, so there isn't any point buying factory original even if it is still available.

Thanks Arnstein. BM70429 is downpipe with cup-fit. Mine has spherical-joint so I was looking at BM70406 that claims tailored to the XJR, but the UK seller I then contacted does not ship to Hong Kong, and after contacting him he only replied me once and is no longer responding. Despite modern advances in business, international logistics, etc., most Amazon and eBay sellers still don’t sell beyond their own territorial region, like U.S. or Continental Europe. However, having seen your post, it appears that your same seller also has BM70406 and is willing to ship to Hong Kong. So many thanks for letting me know your successful purchase.
Wish your log-type home-made exhaust manifolds using mild steel were working well, and the extra set taken by other X300 buddies in Norway Europe. My first post in this thread was made in response to comments by Andy (XJRengineer) in another thread AJ16 headers/extractors.., extracted as follows for ease of reference: ".....the downpipe of an XJR6 is different to the naturally aspirated cars.
