Default Drivers door lock not working + Radio

I can only open the passenger side door with the key. When I do the door button goes up and down 3 times before stopping. At this point I can get in the car. The driver's door will not open with the key. Do I need to do a hard reset?
The car was not used for a long time and had a dead battery. A new battery installed.
I don't know if the radio not switching on at all, no lights, no sound etc (dead as a door nail) is a part of the same issue.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

There are 3 fuses for the stereo , looking up

You have the premium system with the power amplifier and CD player and subwoofer in the trunk

# 1 - 25 amp trunk fuse box

# 8 - 15 amp trunk fuse box

# 5 - 5 amp trunk fuse box which includes point 109 as the power antenna motor , wipe and put so spray lube on it as they bind

I could not see any mention of the radio fuse on the passenger side fuse guide that is in the cover of the right fender fuse box.

There is a cheap repair of the original speaker units as you keep them as they rot to give you lousy sound . Looking up

.....Ke ep in mind that the stereo head and wiring details are different on the X308 but they are pretty much the same .

Have you tried unlocking the doors using the remote? The physical lock mechanism is very sensitive and it is not uncommon that the door lock button goes up and down like what your described when locking/unlocking the doors with keys. Hope it is not the micro-switch that is causing the problem.

As the doors and radio failed/partially failed only after replacing a dead battery, it could be the fuses and relay reacting when a new battery was fitted.

I would suggest checking the Body Processing Module (BPM), cable connectors and grounding points if all other preliminary recovery attempts fail.

Thanks Lady Penelope, it was the fuses that had blown. Tunes are back on. PO must of blown them when he installed the new battery before I picked it up from him.
