I can't find any info about my 96 XJrs ECU, other tha it is a Lucas product. Where can I find "everything there is to know" about the brain box without tearing it apart?

 

Wouldn't it be a Circuit board diagram (or schematic)?
I'm interested in the microproccessor, if it uses EPROM or flash memory, and if that can be played with (any firmare speed bumps?). Is it just an ECU or is it a PCM (shifting, line pressure, TC flash, etc)? I'm basicallylooking for information that would be usefull to an SCT tech, so he can tell me if he can tune the car, or if I should bugger off. :-) If I cant find what I'm looking for, I'll have to dig it out, pop the cover, and show it around...where is it? My ultimate wet dream is that Ford involved themselves to such an extent that they are very similar to the EEC series of computers.
The last car I had played with ran aFordEEC-V PCM, and there was never a shortage of information and tuning options.
