Smile Exterior lights

My 95 XJ6 in indicating that there is an exterior light out. The little red symbol is on. All light are on except the little yellow lights on the front bumper, side of the front finders and on the rear bumper. I thought they were parking lights and should not be on. If one of those is out how do you get them apart to fix the darn thing. Don't like driving with that red light on the instrument panel staring at me.

Thanks guys

You pray them off to the side and pull out if I recall . The tabs on the bulbs can be twisted out for better contact . The muti pin square black connector under the area of the lamps corrode and can be cleaned up .

EZ, I have a spare, will get you a picture so you can see how it is situated, but it will be tomorrow evening, earliest..and that is supposing my spare is where I think it is.
Otherwise, I thought the bulb-out indicator was an amber light? Red is for more dire events. Are you sure about the indicator?

You're right. It is orange. I'm sure it is the right indicator. It has happened before.

Oops! Sorry....Got home late and the puppy was having one of her spells...I totally forgot to dig out my spare and snap a pic for you. Maybe this evening....but from memory...it has hard plastic tabs on one end (that end tucks into the opening first) and a metal spring clip on the other end (the end you can pry out, supposedly) I just can't recall whether the spring clip is on the front or back of the part.

This is the left front, spring clip is in the front.
