I seen in an earler post about RPM's

I am at 7000 rpm's in drive at idle.
1500 rpm's coasting down a hill at 50 mph.
over 2300 rps at 70 mph.
does that sound about right, what are you getting?

Last 3 fill ups I have been able to get around 300 miles out of the tank, using 17-18 gallons of fuel, averaging 18+- mpg and a average speed between 33 and 38. I drive back roads no freeways.

Does this compair to what you get?


Off subject, what is the rear tail light switch used for? I now it makes the lighst brighter but what for?

 

Sounds bad high. Maybe 700?

rear fogs? just makes 'em brighter so you are easier to see in the fog when approached from the rear.

 

I took my foot of the gas peddle and it now reads 700, Thanks!

 

other #s look good. Impressed by 18+ MPG at those speeds. But if a fairly steady 33-38 instead of stop/go it makes sense. I'm getting 19-20 on about 80% hiway 70-80 and 20% stop/go.
