I have some accessory flames made of fridge magnet material which I am experimenting with.
havent tried them on the bonnet yet.
if anyone thinks these are classy and want a set let me know.
I realise it is not 1st of April, but hey, you can never have enough flame.

the clearcoat is coming off the roof, as seen on the top photo. I have been thinking of a roof re-spray with the union jack on it.
It looks good on Minis and Austin Powers' E-type. Not sure about on XJRs..

When I was younger I was into Harleys and old American cars. I wanted to have a flame paint job on my car and motorcycle quite badly. Finally added some flames to my bike's gas tank. Never made it to my car. Now that I'm older and into Jags and other European cars I've decided that the need for a flame paint job has long since passed. However if you like it and want it, go for it! Union Jack on a XJS or XK (8), maybe. XJ maybe not.
