I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I find the front seat bottom a little too firm and a little short for my liking. I admit it is better than allmost any new car on the road, but my 2000 XK8 has a much better bottom part for my butt than the X300 has. I'd like to hear what my friend from down under that also has both cars has to say.

And I was thinking. Would it be possible to obtain a from seat set from a salvage XK8 and put it in the X300. It may be difficult to find such a pair of seats. But the design of the front seats on the XK8 is much better than on the X300. Besides, I'm getting old and some parts down there don't work as well as they used to.
