Default Fuel filter location? 97 VDP

Hello there. I just recently bought my first Jag (97 VDP) and have done a fair amount of maitenence on my past cars and am hoping to do the same on this one (with some help from the experts!) I have a new fuel filter to put on the car but can's seem to locate where the fuel filter is on these cars. Sorry if this sounds a little amaturish but any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks.

Under the car on the frame close to the passenger side, rear tire. Follow the fuel line from the tank to the filter.

thanks ken. Any tricks on this car or is it just a straight unscrew the old one and replace?

You don't need a Jaguar special tool for this. It's a common connector type. Just search in ebay for "Fuel Disconnect Tool" and you'll find plenty of options. For example

Lisle 37000 AC Air Conditioner / Fuel Line Disconnect Tool - GM, Ford, Chrysler | eBay

x300 I am having major problems getting fuel lines out of the tank. Seems someone has been in there before and the return line is bent so no room to get the disconnect tool in and the outlet pipe has one of the spring clips bent outwards so the disconnect tool can not go in. I am wondering now if the best option is to simply cut the lines and replace them? Anyone had this situation before?
