How do I replace motor for electrical window?
Anyone that can describe how to replace the motor for righthandside electrical window? I have removed doorpanels but it is difficult to see which of the screws to remove. I believe it is important to take out the right screws, to avoid taking apart the window mechanism by accident. Must be almost impossible to reassemble, while you can’t get your hands, or tools, inside the door.
I tryed youtube, but found nothing there.
its a 1997 X300 3.2 6-cyl

I found on mine the window door mounted controller the locking bar on the connector loose letting the large black ground wire migrate away from making a connection
The motor can be tested by the 2 large wires in the fwd hole and running it up and down with a 10 amp battery charger , large amperage arcing precautions needed .
The final setting of the switch up cutoff limit ( clocking ) is to hold the switch up a few seconds after the window arrives in the full up position and will click
