Default Install X308 XJR front sway bar on an X300

I recently acquired a front sway bar from an X308 XJR.

I also have the XJR rear sway bar.

The X308 bar is shaped different but I believe it only to be shaped so that the different links fit correctly.

Does anyone know if I can bolt of a X308 to an X300 using X308 links?

I can't find anything different about the mounting brackets...but not certain.

Thanks for any advice!!

The sway bar poly bushings are larger but not a big deal . Andy makes vertical links on the outer points that somehow without looking back at the geometry improve cornering .

I have a message into Andy about those links.

Great I will plan on swapping the bars after I get some links.

In the thread Lady P linked to, Andy (XJRengineer) says the X308 sway bars use drop links with metric studs, but the XJ40/X300 use drop links with Imperial studs. You might have to somehow adapt the X300 drop links to the holes in the X308 bar, but I don't know if that might mean drilling a larger hole in the bar or if a spacer of some sort might be required to prevent the stud from rattling around in the hole. Andy may know.

Cheers,

Don

Good to know. Got a lathe in the shop so not a huge issue. Very handy tool.
