The speedometer operates from the ABS left rear wheel speed sensor. A faulty sensor could account for both an inoperative speedometer and the ABS light coming on.

I'm sure other faults are possible but it couldn't hurt to check the sensor

Cheers

On right hand drive cars, the rear passenger side wheel speed sensor is one of the 4 sensors responsible for abs and is also tied in to general wheel/road speed, so it seems it also has a part to play in operating the speedo. These sensors sometimes fail, but more often, they become dirty and so dont function properly. Remove the wheel and you will see the sensor screwed into the top of the wheel hub, with it's cable attached. Apply plenty of wd40 (cleaner/releasing agent) before attempting to remove the sensor, as the top sections can shear off. Clean the sensor and also use a thin screwdriver to clean the toothed reluctor ring, which is visible down through the hole the sensor just came out of. The connector for the sensor is under the back seat, where it goes into the loom.
The teeth/cogs can become clogged with dirt also, so just rotate the wheel and clean them out as described. A few minutes work.

A good place to start.

As to your other problem, the thermostat is stuck open, the normal failure mode for the XJ6. When you replace it, check the upper hose for swelling and replace that also, if needed. Be careful not to get coolant on the belts or they will squeal.

Good. Now if you go to the black bar at the top of the page and click on USER CP you will find instructions on adding your signature and car to your posts. Having your car in the signature makes it easier for others when you ask a question.

I added something hopefully right signature thing.
Yeah fault is in left rear sensor. Previous owner probably broke sensor its very bad lookin and sensor rotor is missing. I asked how much these parts would cost abs sensor 390€ and sensor rotor 190€. Do you know where i could buy these parts cheaper? Do you know any website? I searched ebay and i found few, is there differences between left and right rear sensor or sensor rotor?

According to the parts list, the left and right sensor are different up to vin ending in 801671, but the same after that.
early: LNA2223AB later: LJA 2226 AA
Check your ebay for a parts manual/ repair manual CD from Jaguar Heritage. They are available here in the US for $15, and I would expect to find them in the EU at a similar reasonable price.

The difference that I found in sensors was that on my 96 4.0l they are longer and bright metallic, whereas on my 3.2 97 donor car, they are shorter and black plastic. The black plastic sensors are a "separate unit" with a connector to hook them up to the actual cable. The 96 sensor is integral with the lead, but both have the same connector under the back seat. From my own personal experience, the 97 sensors didn't work on the 96 car. By the way, difference in engine size is of no consequence. Which sort do you have, as I have a few surplus to requirement. And yes, they are a crazy price new!!

I looked in JPEC,which you can also download from somewhere in the forums. Try doing a search for it. It's the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog. It says speed sensor rotor is CAC8713.

From all that I've seen, the rears are interchangeable with each other, but I may stand corrected. On my 96 x300 the fronts and rears aren't interchangeable, as the front sensors are longer than the rears, so the fronts wont fit down snug into the opening in the hub. Apparently the gap between the sensor and the reluctor ring is fairly critical, so a sensor that is too short will be a no no also.
