Hello, I have a 1995 Jaguar XJR-6 that needs the supercharger replaced. Can anyone tell me the recommended book time as I am on a budget? Thanks.

 

When I worked at the dealer, the new car warranty time for supercharger replace (VIN 720001 to 812255) was 3.80 hours.
Real world time we calculated at Warranty Time, times time-and-a-half. (3.80 X 1.5 = 5.7 hours)

You need to add diagnostic time and we would also get .1 hour for drive-in-drive-out.

A little over 6 hours (between 6 and 7 HOURS) would be my estimation.

 

As long as there gonna be in that neck of the woods it might be a good time to replace the ‘octopus’ hose.
