I've just sold my six cylinder SWB Sov, thinking it'd be easy to find a 6 LWB X300, but they are more difficult to find than I thought. Anyone knows of a LWB 6 in the UK, doesn't matter if it need repainted or needing mechanical work as long as it's structurally solid and the interior id good.

 

A few years ago I wanted an X300 LWB but couldn't find one. Out of a total production of 92,038 only 17,368 were LWB. 4,560 of these weren't even available in the UK market and the majority of the remainder went to the US market.

The situation was similar with the X308 LWB although I did manage to buy one of them.

I'll get my jotters handed to me by the missus if I go for a ten grand car...the two grand one on the other hand look a bit ropey ...looks like it needs wings ..it's a Scottish car..stuff rots up here faster than in Englandshire!

Just worry about half of them at any one time.

 

I like the fact the advert says ‘Economical’ compared to a boeing 747 I suppose it is!
