Exclamation My XJR got struck by lightening

(just kidding )

Bet I made somebody's heart skip a beat for a moment.

My younger brother is extremely talented in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. He just bought the brand new CS5 program, which is absolutely (ABSOLUTELY) mind boggling in what it can do today, especially with the two huge new features of CS5. He mainly does mix tape covers, album art, etc, so the image below isn't anywhere near as sophisticated as he can work, but boredom struck last night and I told him to mess around with some shoots of my XJR. Thought I'd share. You didn't really think I'd let my kitty get struck by lightening did you??

Original image is in my sig pic.

That's a nice background
Seriously though, lightning strike doesn't adversely affect a car

I'd resize the lightning pic and use that in your sig.

How's the new business going since the move, hope all is well.

I know. lol. What's that saying safest place to be in a lightening storm is technically your car due to the rubber tires?

Hey thanks for asking. It has actually been going pretty good. There's a foreign car shop about 15 mins north of me, which I've been doing a handful of their customer cars. A guy about my age off the Bimmer Forums was someone I met when I first got here. He's the BMW tech at the shop.

Other than that I have been exhausting just about every other option I can in order to stir up more business. Most small and large dealerships already have in-house detailing and/or the work is just not needed. Being a business that is 100% referral can be a pain to get rolling. At the end of the second month we were here I at least caught a break with a part-time in home pet sitting job, which is a new division of a pet hotel my brother found a job with upon arrival. At least I'm working with two things I'm passionate about, which is cars and animals. But I definitely could use more work. I am even strongly considering getting my dealers license again out here.

I don't know if rubber tires has directly or indirectly anything to do with ligthing proof but aircrafts are also safe and I presumed other way lol. A plane could be struck at least once by lightning struck according to averages

Remember Top Gear did a lightning strike simulation on some tiny POS car. The car was mostly unscathed.

And yes, as my dad always likes to remind me, a human is perfectly safe inside a lightning struck car.
