NEW SREREO PROBLEMS

Hi all

I have just fitted a new stereo to my x300 and I cant get the electric ariel to work. I have tried trial and error but no luck.

Also I do not know the way to run the memory wire to the stereo to store the settings in the unit. The stereo is working and I have wired all the speakers but no luck with the above.

Please help

Have you tried gently easing the ariel up when you first switch it on incase the ariel is stuck?

Hey jagman, how did you wire the factory wires to the new radio? Did you buy a wiring harness or have them spliced to fit? I've been searching for a wiring harness so I can replacemy factory radiowithout having to splice wires.Thanks

new set of stereo comes with its standard socket and harness, splice the harness connected in the car but make sure you have the wire diagram to know which line goes to where.
