Hello,

From one day to the next, my 97 XJ6L lost its ability to tell me Instant Fuel and AVG Fuel data, which means all other functions are pretty much useless (the Distance still works, though). My gas gauge seems to be fine otherwise and works as it should.

Is there the equivalent of a Fuel Interface Module on this car or is it part of the main ECU? Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Any ideas?

That is odd! I am pretty sure the ecu calculates fuel usage from injector duration, so there should really be nothing besides the ecu and odometer involved. You don't have any ABS lights or codes, do you?
