I like shift bezel better...but have found both "selector chrome and leather trim finisher" and "gear lever surround finisher" in the service manual.
Mine also "floats" but looking at the broken tabs and the amount of movement when actuating the shift lever, I'm not persuaded a replacement would last all that long either. Think I'll live with mine, tho one must occasionally bump it to remove the keys!

hey
I found a replacement for the bezel...EBAY 40$..I don't feel like paying that..I took out the chrome trim inside the bezel and just placed the leather trim in its place..I sorta jammed it in so it doesn't move..for the Cup Holder I got rid of the spring inside the holder tray (that makes the holders keep popping)..Once I got rid of the spring the cup holders stayed in place. I don't use the holders and don't ever wanna use them lol they are a nightmare. I also got them tanned to match the steering wheel

Hi,
I have used with success some fine fiberglass tape as used in building R/C airplanes with a cement to repair some of the crappy Jag plastic parts. For plastic the cement of choice is CA. And the plastic needs to be roughened up.
I repaired the chrome bezel piece you mention using that. One part was missing and I replaced it with a cut piece of popsicle stick. But anything would probably do.
