Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit location?

Where on the 4 liter engine in an XJ6, is the sending unit for the oil pressure located?
And where is the best place to get a new one?

Thanks!

It's on the block right beside the oil filter (immediately rearward of the filter). Rockauto.com has a few to choose from starting around $40.

If you are replacing the original (which showed actual oil pressure) you'll find that the new sending unit does not do that. It's a dummy unit that just shows that there IS pressure, and it may read high unless you also install an inline 75ohm 0.5W resistor (which brings the needle to the middle of the gauge). I don't know a way around this.
