Default P1607 Code on 95 XJS

Hi, When I drive my XJS in very slow busy traffic during hot weather the engine suddenly stalls, check engine light pops up and when I scan the OBD the following code shows:
P1607 MIL O/P Circuit Malfunction.
Can anybody tells me what this means and what to do please?
Thanks,
Marc

What engine? This is not the XJS forum, but if you have a six someone may be able to help.

There are not many XJS sixes. If it's the last version with the AJ16 engine you may find help here. Below is the link to the XJS forum.

I think the code may relate to the ECU. You may want to disconnect it and clean the connections with contact cleaner and inspect for corrosion. First disconnect the negative battery cable.

Also do a search on both forums with the subject engine stalls to see what others may have found.
