yes, before all this the fans functioned properly. Also got my codes read this morning and I'm getting P0300 and P0304. just replaced all spark plugs and coils 5 and 6 so I don't understand. Getting P1313 which is a "lean surge"??
What's a lean surge?

Well, your code translation isn't exactly correct. P1313 is for a misfire count severe enough to cause catalyst damage on cylinders 1, 2 and 3. Meaning greater than 30% in 200 revolutions. P0304 is a misfire count on cylinder #4 exceeding 3% in 1000 revs.

Cheers,

I just did the modification and STILL no action from the fans.

xjrguy, what could be causing that to happen?

Now you have to check the fans themselves and get a look at the relay module below the LH headlamps. For low speed the fans are powered in series, one after the other, for high speed the relay module switches them both to parallel. They run at full speed then. If one fan is open circuit, neither will run at low speed.

So low speed they run on six volts each, twelve volts on high.

Good luck!

Thank you i'll order the relay and post again.

Do you have any idea on what could be causing the misfire?
