Default Questions

I have already posted these queries, separately, to no avail, so just trying again to see if I get a response. My first question; Is there any particular technique, do's or dont's involved in removing and replacing the A-Frame bushes on my 97 xj6 Sovereign. Will a garage with a press be essential, or can it be done manually. I have devised a way to press in and out using a trolley jack and some other bits and bobs, just wondered are there any "tricks" Secondly, I want to remove the chrome ( for a respray) that is fitted along the outsides of the side windows, pillars, roof gutter etc. Are there any hidden clips, screws or is it all just held in place with adhesive tape or similar. That's enough for now and thanks in advance, hopefully!

No tricks for the bushings that I can think of. Just be sure you have good press attachments so the press job can be done safely.

The trim is another matter. Attached is a body document with a couple of notes about the stainless trim.

Good luck!
