Rear Sunshade Hooks

Rear Sunshade Hooks
Does anyone know of a source for these? I have the two-piece sunshade, and one of the plastic hooks that secures the blind to the headliner is broken off. It looks like the hook has a torx screw that secures it to the sunshade, so it seems to be replaceable.
The only trouble is finding one. I don't think they're available separately.
Any help?
Thanks,
Nick

Yeah, the sunshades are hard to find it seems. Not sure where you would find a spare hook other than salvage.
But as an aside, would you be able to post some photos of your "two piece" shades, deployed, stowed and how/where they are installed on the package shelf?
I've yet to see an X300 with the single or dual shades installed, so am curious.

Ask (politely) and you shall receive.
I was thinking if I couldn't find one, maybe I could send it out to a place that does 3D printing, and they could print me a few copies. It's a lot cooler than going to a junkyard...
Although I'll keep an eye on Pick and Pull and see if they've got a VDP I can grab one off of.

Yeah, I think they all have the "receptacles" in the roof as that also is how the headliner panel is bolted in. In the XJ40, this was a complete trim piece that ran the breadth of he rear window versus the X300 "receptacles" alone.
It is interesting to note which cars have the single versus dual. It must have been an option as one can find both sets of part numbers listed as fitting all the models.
I had read somewhere that the screens had special mounting to raise them above the subwoofer, but your photos clearly show that at least the dual shades install without any interference or special mounting. As noted above, I bet that that cars with the premium sound (subwoofer) must use the dual shade, and cars without the subwoofer could use the single.
I don't really need them, but it would be neat to come across a set of the duals in Nimbus Gray.
Thank you for the great photos, much appreciated!

No problem, Al!
That's exactly it, Premium Audio cars got Dual Sunshades, Non-Premium Audio got the single shade. It's just a simple matter of the single shade not being able to fit with the subwoofer in the way.
If you have a vehicle with no subwoofer, you could probably use either the single or the dual, as the receptacles in the headliner are the same.
