ok so my question is, is a x308 and x300 climate control module interchangeable?

they physically look the same, connectors look the same and part numbers are very similar, LNA7600A# for the X300 v LNC7600A# for the X308 model.

the reason i ask is i am pretty sure mine is worn and in need of replacment.
i am getting an intermittent issue where the vent controls become inoperable and/or the foot/windscreen vent button flashes on and off.
this comes and goes.
i have run the diagnostics and the only error codes i had was 23 from when i had low gas but that is now sorted.
when i run the self test all the vents switch and there is no issue with any function.

so i am pretty sure that the module is on its way out.
i have taken apart and cleaned the switchpack and all the switches work just fine.

 

They are the same Denso A / C system minus the center vent thumbwheel pot but ..........................................
